How to recover data from formatted disk

    After formatting, only a few hidden files are left on the removable hard disk. However, if you stop writing new files immediately, most files can be recovered. The specific recovery method is also very simple.


Tool/software: AuroraDataRecovery


Step 1: After downloading and unzipping the program, double-click the partition to be recovered, then right-click the software icon and select "Run as administrator"


Step 2: After the software runs, directly select the partition to be recovered, Then click the "Scan Recovery" button in the upper right corner to start scanning data.


Step 3: The software will quickly put the found data in the directory with the same name as the disk to be recovered


Step 4: Check all the data to be recovered, right-click and select "Copy Checked Files", the program will check the files are copied.


Step 5: The last step is to just wait for the software to copy the files.


Note 1: The data recovered from formatting needs to be temporarily saved to another disk.


Note 2: If you want to restore the format of the G drive, you need to pay attention to it. You must restore the data before you can save files to this drive.
