How to recover data from only C drive after ghost

The loss of the GHOST system partition is due to choosing the wrong option when reinstalling the system, which leads to the entire hard disk being installed as the C drive. After the installation, only the C drive is left. If you want to restore the files of the lost disk, you need to pay attention not to save new files to the current C drive (because the files saved now may overwrite the files of the original DEF disk). You can remove the hard disk and hang it on another computer as a slave disk or connect a mobile hard disk to restore the data to the mobile hard disk. See below for specific recovery methods.

Tool/software: Meteor data recovery software

Step 1: After downloading and decompressing the software, double-click the partition to be restored, then right-click the software icon and select "Run as administrator" (if it is an xp system, you can directly double-click to open the software) .

Step 2: After the program runs, directly double-click the physical disk to be recovered. If the GHOST system partition is lost, you need to recover data from the physical disk.

Step 3: It will take an average of several minutes to half an hour to wait for the software to scan.

Step 4: After the software finds the file, put it in the "Recovered Partition" directory.

Step 5: Check all the data to be recovered, right-click and select "Copy Checked Files", the program will copy the checked files.

Step 6: The last step is to wait for the software to copy the data.

Note 1: The data recovered from the loss of the GHOST system partition needs to be temporarily saved to another disk.

Note 2: If you want to recover the lost GHOST system partition, you need to pay attention. Before data recovery, do not save new files to the C drive.
