One of the remote desktop technologies - "Your credentials are not working"
When remote desktop, if "your credentials do not work" appears, please make certain modifications on the remote host:
method one:
Go to "Control Panel" -> "Credential Manager" -> "Add Windows Credentials" -> Enter the IP address, user name, and password of the server you want to log in to, and click OK to exit.
This method doesn't necessarily work...
Method Two:
1. Run gpedit.msc in the "Start" window, go to Computer Configuration->Administrative Templates->System->Credential Assignment->Allow Assignment of Saved Credentials for NTLM Server Only Authentication, double-click to open, select "Enabled"- >Click "Display" and enter "TERMSRV/*", click OK to exit.
2. Run the command "gpupdate /force" in the "Start" window to take effect immediately or restart the computer.
Of course, this method does not necessarily work for your computer, you can continue to change the method——–
Method three:
Start -> Run -> gpedit.msc -> Computer Configuration -> Windows Settings -> Security Settings -> Local Policies -> Security Options -> Network Access: Sharing and Security Model for Local Accounts.
Modify to use classic mode, as shown below
Method four:
Start->Run->gpedit.msc->Computer Configuration->Administrative Templates->Windows Components->Remote Desktop Services->Select Remote Desktop Session Host->Select:Security->Select:Remote (RDP) Connection requires using specified security layer.
Change Unconfigured to Enabled, and choose RDP for the security layer. Click OK to save. As shown below
