Software Engineering Second Group Work

For the project of our team's programming, we did this questionnaire survey . A total of 103 questionnaires were recovered. The following is the data analysis of this questionnaire:

1. Your gender

Among the 103 people who participated in the questionnaire survey, the proportion of males was higher, with 64 and 39 females.

2. Your grade

Among the people who participated in the questionnaire survey, the majority were undergraduates, 6 graduate students, and the third year undergraduates were the most, accounting for more than 60%.

3. Do you know the second-hand trading platform?

We can see from the figure that most people have some understanding of second-hand trading platforms, but they do not know much, they only stay at the level of preliminary understanding, and 23.3% of people have almost no knowledge about this aspect.

4. Do you browse used items when shopping online?

As can be seen from the figure, the vast majority of people browse second-hand goods when they need it, and only 13.7% of them never browse, so the market for second-hand goods is still good.

In addition, it can be seen from the figure below that the proportion of boys browsing second-hand goods is slightly higher than that of girls.

5. If needed, which of the following types of used goods would you choose?

As can be seen from the figure, books, audio-visual products and digital electronic products are more easily accepted by everyone, mainly because these two types of items are less likely to be damaged, and the new and old conditions of the products have little impact on users.

6. What do you usually do with the things you buy that you don't use?

We can see that 52% of people put it away, 11.6% of them choose to throw it away, and only 35.3% of people choose to give it to others or reuse it in second-hand transactions, so we are very good at building this platform. If necessary, on the one hand, it can avoid waste as much as possible, and on the other hand, it also provides a second-hand trading platform for everyone.

7. What factors motivate you to buy used items?

It can be seen from the figure that the main factor is that there is no need to buy new ones. Just like the most popular commodities such as books and electronic products mentioned above, the new and old of these items will not have a great impact on users. Therefore, it is more recognized among the students.

8. What do you think are the limitations of second-hand trading platforms?

As we all know, online shopping itself has certain limitations, and the limitations of buying second-hand goods from the Internet are even greater. It can be seen from the picture that the students are most concerned about the accuracy of the description of the physical objects. Second-hand trading has always been criticized, and we will focus on solving this problem.

9. If a "campus second-hand trading platform" is established in this school, will you use it?

In the survey of the students, only 2% of them chose not to use it, and most of them said that they would use it when needed. Therefore, our market prospects are still relatively good, and we need to pay more attention to the needs of our students. In order to win more users, and then better help students.

10. Which trading method do you prefer if you trade on the school's exclusive "Campus Second-hand Trading Platform"?

Recently, online transactions have become more and more popular, but many people prefer traditional cash transactions. It can be seen from the survey that students are not too limited to one transaction method, so we will design two transaction methods. At the same time, it is up to the students to choose.

11. Would you be willing to trade if the platform could be bartered?

The item of barter is relatively easy to accept among the students. More than half of the students choose to be very willing, so this will also be a function of the platform.

12. What functions do you think the "second-hand trading platform on campus" should have?

At the request of the students, in addition to the most basic commodity prices, descriptions, and search functions, sharing, barter, and human customer service are also functions we are going to implement.

13. What do you think the platform should be guided by?

Most of the students think that the platform should be guided by products, accounting for 65.7%, so the platform will only accept single products on the shelves, and will not support the store model of multiple items on the shelves at the same time.

14. Do you accept that an account login is required?

For security reasons, the platform still requires an account and password to log in, which is also supported by the vast majority of students. The account is initially set to log in with a mobile phone number.

15. What are your expectations or suggestions for our "second-hand trading platform on campus"?

This is a must-do short-answer question in the questionnaire. The students all expressed their opinions and made many good suggestions for us, which are briefly summarized here. 1. Some students feel that our target audience is limited, and we should target the whole society, not just college students. Our team believes that the second-hand online shopping market has basically reached a saturated state, such as salted fish, Zhuanzhuan, etc., which are popular with people, and our platform may not have an objective number of users; For students, we will use the school as a unit to become a closed trading platform within the school, which can better protect the interests of students. 2. Some students worry about the quality of the products. Because our platform is on-campus, the platform will not interfere too much with the transaction process. Since they are all students from our school, it is possible to check the goods before paying, which ensures the quality of the goods. 3. Some students hope that we can make an APP or WeChat applet as soon as possible. In the early stage, our team planned to only work on the web side, but as time progresses and the number of users increases, we will also consider APPs, etc., or do it first, start from the basics, help students as much as possible, and continue to work hard to expand market.
