Using VMware to create an XP virtual machine from a vmdk file

1. Open VMware workstation10, go to the home page, select "Create a new virtual machine", and then select the "Custom (Advanced)" option

  

  

2. Select the default compatibility mode for virtual machine hardware compatibility with 10.0. After the next step, select "Install the operating system later"

  

  

3. Select MIcrosoft Windows system, and select Windows XP Professional in the drop-down list, and then select the storage directory of the virtual machine

  

  

Fourth, select the running memory

  

Five, the next three steps, select the default 

6. Select "Use an existing virtual hard disk", then find the vmdk file that existed before and open it

  

  

  

7. Select "Custom Hardware", remove some unnecessary things (such as printers), and complete
