Changes will take effect after review.

2. Preliminary round (June 20−July 19)

The participating teams can download the data from the designated website of the competition, debug the algorithm locally, and submit the results online. If a team submits results multiple times within one day, the new result version will overwrite the old version.

Starting at 12:00 on June 20, the competition platform will provide the training data of the preliminary competition for the participating teams to train models and formulate estimation strategies; at the same time, the platform will provide test data for the participating teams to evaluate and rank their models in the competition.

The preliminary round adopts the Public-Private ranking and real-time evaluation method , that is, the test data includes the data samples used by the Public ranking and the Private ranking, and the distribution of the Public ranking test set is the same as that of the Private ranking test set. Each team is scored using the same distribution. Players can optimize the model based on the real-time updated results of the public list, and the final effective ranking is based on the private list.

  • From 12:00 on June 20th to 20:00 on July 19th , each participating team has the opportunity to submit and evaluate the ranking twice a day. The system will immediately evaluate and return the public results. The leaderboard will select the historical best Public scores of the participating teams at this stage for ranking display, and update the leaderboard in real time.

  • Before 20:00 on July 19th , each participating team can select two submission records from its own valid submissions that consider both generalization performance and model scoring to enter the private list for evaluation. If the player does not choose to submit the submission record to the Private list before the submission deadline, the platform will automatically select the submission record corresponding to the player's highest score on the Public list to enter the Private list for evaluation.

After the preliminary round, the top 100 teams in the Private list should submit their codes for review. Please refer to the "Code Specification" document for details. The deadline for code submission is 21:00 on July 23 .

The organizing committee will review and disqualify the teams with manual marking and violation of competition regulations, etc., and the vacant places that advance to the semi-finals will be filled later. For the participating teams whose preliminary results meet the requirements and have passed real-name authentication, the top 65 participating teams and the top 15 student teams ranked between 66-100 will enter the semi-finals, and all teams that pass the review will receive preliminary ranking certificates.

3. Rematch (July 27−August 16)

The team submits relevant model files online, and the evaluation system will automatically evaluate the scores and update them to the leaderboard synchronously. The leaderboard will record the player's highest score, and the participating teams must save the source code of the highest score work for review.

The semi-finals will use Public-Private rankings and real-time evaluation methods:

  • From 12:00, July 27th to 20:00, August 16th , each team has the opportunity to submit model files twice a day to participate in the evaluation, and the public results will be returned after the evaluation is completed. The leaderboard will select the historical best Public scores of the participating teams at this stage for ranking display, and update the leaderboard in real time. The participating teams must save the source code of the highest score for review.

  • Before 20:00 on August 16 , each participating team can select 2 submission records from its own valid submissions that consider both generalization performance and model scoring to enter the Private list for evaluation. If the player does not choose to submit the submission record to the Private list before the submission deadline, the platform will automatically select the submission record corresponding to the player's highest score on the Public list to enter the Private list for evaluation.

The deadline for the rematch is 20:00 on August 16 , and all teams need to submit codes for review. The organizing committee will review and eliminate teams with problems such as manual labeling, mutual plagiarism, unsubmitted code, irreproducible results, and other violations.

Among the TOP20 teams that have passed the code review, the student teams that rank first and second will advance directly to the finals, and the rest of the teams will advance to the finals according to the results of the rematch.

4. Finals (August 26-27)

The final will be held in Beijing in the form of an on-site defense meeting. The specific requirements and arrangements will be notified separately. The board and lodging of the contestants invited to participate in the finals during the finals will be arranged by the competition organizing committee, and round-trip transportation and other expenses will be borne by themselves.
