The purpose of installing the vmware virtualization toolkit is to allow the virtual machine and the external host to copy and paste the function, and then MapPeduce will write code in the future.
1. Disconnect the disc in
order to not occupy the disc.
2. Log in as an ordinary user bass and enter the virtual machine
3. Install VMware Tools
3.1 Find the menu bar of the virtual machine and
click to install "VMware Tools". The installation is successful here, so "Reinstall" is displayed.
3.2 Find VMwareTools-10.3.10-13959562.tar.gz compressed package
VMwareTools-10.3.10-13959562.tar.gz in /media/bass
3.3 Copy the compressed package to /home/bass
cp VMwareTools-10.3.10-13959562.tar.gz /home/bass
3.4 Unzip the compressed package
tar xzvf VMwareTools-10.3.10-13959562.tar.gz
3.5 Enter the installation package directory and execute the installation
cd vmware-tools-distrib.
Green means executable files, blue means folders, and white means ordinary files.
perl vmware-install.pl*
Note: perl is a binary installation.
The first option is to enter yes, which means that it needs to be installed.
Others choose the default path and options.
Indicates that the installation was successful.
4. Create test files
Create txt on the external host and create
test.txt in /home/bass
cd /home/bass
vi test.txt
Copy the content of txt created by the external host.
cat test.txt
to this vmware virtualization toolkit is installed successfully!
