IDM multi-threaded download on Windows is very powerful, that is, it can capture videos, pictures, and audios on the page, and can be used as a browser downloader, but IDM cannot be used under Linux unless you use wine. But we can use XDM instead of IDM in Linux.
XDM(Xtreme Download Manager)
Download and install
- XDM download:
https://subhra74.github.io/xdm/ - Unzip
- installation:
sudo ./install.sh - Open the software, it will pop up to install the browser plug-in to monitor the browser content, select the browser you use and click "install addon", the browser will pop up the xdm plug-in page, just install the plug-in.
Other settings of the scroll wheel scroll down according to your needs. - Click "tools-language" to switch to Chinese
- Set thread to 32, tool----option----network setting----number of download threads 32 (segment per download)
use
Just open a bilibili video, you can see the Dowload Video button in the lower right corner, click to download it.
(I feel that the download button of xmd is much better than idm)
Uninstall
sudo /opt/xdman/uninstall.sh
