The most popular TOP30 project awards were presented at the "OSC Origin Creation Conference-Year-end Ceremony" hosted by the Open Source Chinese Community at the National Conference Center of Shenzhen Kexing Science Park.

Open Source China conducts the selection of the most popular Chinese open source software every year. This selection involves 6 categories, each of which took the top 5 into the TOP30 awards, and a total of 140,000 people participated in the voting. With the efforts of the IoTDB community and users, we rank third in the most competitive basic software category.

About Apache IoTDB (incubating)

Tsinghua Shuwei IoTDB is a lightweight, high-performance time series database independently developed by the School of Software of Tsinghua University. It is now an Apache incubator project. The system is a data management engine that supports the integration of data collection, storage, query and analysis of the Internet of Things, supports "cloud-network-end" integrated deployment and integration, and is suitable for high-end equipment management, factory equipment management, and high-speed network equipment management Various industrial application scenarios.

1. The system adopts the native columnar storage and sequence encoding and compression methods of time series, and supports the write speed of tens of millions of points per second for a single node.

2. The system supports multi-scale time-frequency fusion data storage and multi-dimensional efficient indexing, providing millisecond-level data query response.

3. The system's native index supports multi-resolution data query, pattern matching and other IoT data analytical queries

4. Adopt an open file structure, seamlessly integrate with Hadoop, Spark ecology, and realize the integration of data query and analysis.

 

At present, the system has been deployed in production in the Shanghai Metro. Only one server is used to replace the original 13 open source time series database to form a server cluster. The system has also been applied to Goldwind Technology and other units, effectively managing the real-time working condition data of tens of thousands of wind turbines.
