This year, due to the impact of the epidemic, global economic and commercial activities have undergone earth-shaking changes. As a cloud vendor, the emergency response to our infrastructure and external service capabilities pose great challenges. On the other hand, the epidemic has also greatly increased the social "cloud use", accelerated the popularization of cloud services between governments and enterprises, and brought new industrial opportunities.
Today, I want to talk about several trends in the future development of the digital economy from three aspects:
First of all, as the new infrastructure enters an outbreak period, it will further release the momentum of the digital economy. In fact, in the past few years, the entire society’s investment in the digitalization of infrastructure has been increasing. New computing has brought new computing power and challenges. 5G, Internet of Things and other network technologies have been integrated and developed, and the interactive experience has been continuously improved. , Digitization also makes the importance of network security increasingly prominent.
As a new computing method, Serverless has become ubiquitous. Facing the R&D challenges brought by ubiquitous intelligence, Serverless greatly reduces the development threshold and improves R&D efficiency. Currently, Tencent Cloud Serverless products have more than 10 billion daily calls, serving more than 1 million developers.
The integration and development of new network technologies show the characteristics of multi-network overlay and dynamic connection. For example, the vehicle-road collaboration of intelligent networked vehicles requires fusion applications of 5G, LBS, and the Internet of Things. The millisecond-level transmission of on-board sensors, roadside cameras and other Internet of Things facilities with 5G networks improves the efficiency and safety of vehicles. Sex.
Under the epidemic, the outbreak of real-time audio and video interactive scenes and applications has inspired new interactive methods. For example, the traffic of live broadcast in the first half of the year increased steadily. According to our statistics, in June, the bandwidth of live broadcast sales in the entire industry increased by 500% compared to January. Through our real-time audio and video capabilities, in the past 1 second of the network, the delay can now be as low as 100 milliseconds. During the epidemic, our TRTC carried an average of 3 billion minutes of real-time interaction every day. The high concurrency and low latency of Tencent Meetings and other applications were achieved through this technology.
In addition, digitization has made security risks more common and constantly changing dynamically. With the continuous development of cloud native, enterprises should pay more attention to security when considering how to efficiently use the development opportunities brought by cloud native. How to build a three-dimensional defense system based on cloud-native application and development capabilities and cloud-based security capabilities will be a question that every cloud user and every company that embraces the digital economy needs to consider.
These new technologies have further released economic momentum and made the digital world more "flexible." However, the definition of new infrastructure is more than that. In our view, the new infrastructure coexists in multiple forms. The new infrastructure is not only done by cloud computing companies like Tencent. It is not just a cloud. It also needs to be built with the government, customers and our industrial ecology. A win-win situation. At present, in many industries such as finance, industry, and government affairs, we have worked with ecological partners to build many industry ecological clouds and participate in the construction of integrated infrastructure.
For example, in July, Tencent Cloud, based on the proprietary cloud solution TCE, and Shenzhen Stock Exchange jointly launched the "new generation financial cloud". Through this platform, brokerage institutions can easily obtain various capabilities for digital upgrades and leverage the unique advantages of industry clouds. Solve performance, network and capacity pressures, and respond flexibly to market changes. This year we have also seen that the transaction volume of the entire brokerage has a very large increase compared to last year. In the future, such new infrastructure will accelerate its implementation in many industries and continue to create new industry samples.
With the growing scale of services carried by cloud computing, the combination of software and hardware has become a rigid need. Different from traditional infrastructure construction, the biggest change in the new infrastructure is the transformation from hardware to software, and the transformation from reinforced concrete to corporate services. Among them, the value of SaaS-based enterprise services will become increasingly prominent. In the past, everyone’s understanding of new infrastructure lies more in the construction of data centers and other hardware facilities. We believe that software services should be used to define new infrastructure, so that the applications carried on the data center can really help our business development and transformation.
Second, the transformation of new industries is continuing to create new economic growth engines. We see that digital technology is deepening the reshaping of the industry, continuously incubating new organizational methods, changing supply relationships, and improving the efficiency of industrial operations through new platform capabilities.
For example, the epidemic has promoted the onlineization of industrial production methods and users' lifestyles, and organizational forms are undergoing unprecedented changes. During the Spring Festival, the number of users of Tencent Conference went out of a steep upward curve. In order to create a better user experience, since its release at the end of last year, Tencent Conference has upgraded and iterated 29 versions and launched in more than 100 countries and regions across the country. To date, the number of registered users of Tencent Meetings has officially exceeded 100 million, and it has become the most popular professional video conferencing application in China.
The new industry not only needs to tailor various digital solutions according to the actual needs of all walks of life, but also to use data as the driving force, through the digitization of the production and sales links, and open up the B2B2C chain to achieve a more efficient "new supply" ".
Taking Linglong Tire as an example, it is difficult for the traditional model to reach real end users. Merchants, stores, channels, and consumers are separated from each other. Through the digital unified management platform we jointly created, we can use enterprise WeChat, applets and other connected applications to reach users more efficiently and respond to market needs. At the same time, we can open online and offline stores through the electronic mall to improve the "effectiveness. Since the platform was launched in March this year, franchise stores have reached 15,000, and sales growth has exceeded 50%. You can imagine how difficult it is to achieve such results under the influence of the entire epidemic.
The advantages of the new industry are platform capabilities and open ecology. Through the "Thousand Sails Plan", we create and connect the SaaS ecosystem and provide solutions in an ecological way. At present, Tencent Cloud has collaborated with more than 50 leading SaaS vendors, including Weimob, Kingdee, Fada, and Salese, to launch multi-scenario solutions. Now, more and more SaaS partners have joined the "Qianfan Project" to provide our customers with better SaaS services through the mid-stage of Qianfan technology.
Third, with the digitalization of urban infrastructure, social governance will be further upgraded. Digitization has truly connected urban spaces, opened up new ideas for social governance, and at the same time enabled a comprehensive upgrade of the service model of modern cities.
Through this epidemic, we have seen that the digitalization in the urban governance process has undergone great changes compared with before. During the epidemic, we need to consider what to do with our social economy, what to do with the resumption of work and production, and what to do with residents’ travel. After Tencent's anti-epidemic health code was launched, it was quickly promoted to all parts of the country, covering 900 million users and becoming a "gateway" for entering and leaving communities and office spaces. In addition, during the epidemic, we also assisted more than 28,000 companies in 42 regions across the country to resume work and production through the We Smart Mini Program. After the epidemic, we also hope to apply the experience and accumulated capabilities in fighting the epidemic to the subsequent construction of future cities.
Under the epidemic, our C2B2G capabilities have been further improved and used. On the C-side, the current WeChat users have exceeded 1.2 billion. Today, every netizen in China is basically a WeChat user; on the B-side, more and more companies have begun to choose Enterprise WeChat, on the one hand, as a company’s internal communication and collaboration , On the other hand, we also saw the connectivity capabilities of corporate WeChat and WeChat; on the G side, government WeChat realized the collaboration of civil servants' office, and improved the efficiency of the collaborative office of civil servants within the government through OA electronic methods. We can imagine whether government WeChat will become a better communication channel between our government and C-end users in the future, and improve the efficiency of public governance.
Tencent's organic ecosystem brings together users at the three ends of C, B, and G to form a large platform that creates more value through the three ends of collaboration. In the face of digital urban governance, or when emergencies occur, the three terminals can be truly coordinated quickly and efficiently.
