Great Thousand Dunhuang Wall

Zhang Daqian's copy of the Dunhuang mural was originally planned to work for only three months, and the result was three years. One copy of 267 large and small murals, costing 5,000 gold, almost bankrupt, and a private bank that loaned him was dragged down. The huge debt owed didn't pay off gradually until decades later.
