CentOS7 --VM use virtual machine snapshot (backup systems)

Virtual machine snapshot (backup systems)

  • There will inevitably be an error during system operation, small errors better, but the situation once the crash is not so fun, but do not need to worry, the worst case is to reinstall the system again, and then come back again all the configuration again.
  • To avoid this situation, VM provides a feature called "snapshots" that is the state of the virtual machine backup. Before proceeding, the virtual machine back up the data, after the error occurs, you can find the corresponding node backup data for system recovery.
  • Steps are as follows:
  • Right-click on the virtual machine, select the snapshot -> Take Snapshot to enter the following interface:

Click Take Snapshot to create a snapshot, system backup.

  • Data recovery: Right-click on the virtual machine, Snapshot -> Snapshot Manager, appears below:

Select the node to restore the virtual machine system state.
