驱动程序之_3_网络设备_3_网卡驱动移植

网卡出厂一般都会有驱动程序模板,网卡接到不同的Cpu上,引脚、参数有所不同,移植过程要做的就是根据硬件修改引脚地址、参数

一般来说,需要修改的是片选引脚、中断标号、内存控制器(网卡相关部分)

本文是根据JZ2440,移植DM9000CEP

在入口函数前面可以看到,只有定义了MODULE宏,入口函数、出口函数才有效,因此,首先要添加宏MODULE

根据以往习惯,修改入口函数、出口函数名字,并且使用module_init、module_exit修饰

在入口函数中调用了dmfe_probe

在dmfe_probe中,类似虚拟网卡驱动,分配了net_device并注册

设置是在调用的dmfe_probe1中

在dmfe_probe1中可以知道,Cpu首先读取网卡内的存储器所存储的器件ID,然后设置前面分配的net_device

紧接着可以看到使用了基地址iobase、中断标号irq,这两个参数跟硬件挂钩需要修改,iobase可以从开发板内存分配表查到,irq标号可以从开发板原理图查到dm9000的中断引脚的网络标号得到。

iobase、irq是全局变量,初始化时已经设定好,可以在初始化时修改,也可以在入口函数修改

第一行可以注释,也可以把return 改为非跳转语句(段),例如打印错误信息;

第二行删除即可,结构体中没有这个成员

上面我们修改了中断标号,中断触发信号还没修改,由内核中断相关的知识,中断使用之前需要使用request_irq申请,触发信号在这里指定,找到相关语句

即使我们不配置内存控制器,uboot会为我们配置内存控制器(uboot上有默认的配置参数),至此,驱动程序基本能使用了,但是为了优化性能,可以修改一下内存控制器的时序参数
