One of my classmates joined SAP in year 2006 as intern and worked them for several month.
He told me that in SAP Labs Chengdu, he can work with foreigners either locally or remotely, which is very attractive to me. Meanwhile, he also mentioned there is a “mysterious” programming language invented by SAP and widely used in various SAP products. At that time I was only able to program using C/C++ and in my opinion only the top IT companies can have ability to invent a completely new programming language, so I ask myself: why not have a try? Then I joined SAP’s campus talk held in 2006 in my university, submitted my resume, attended several rounds of paper interview and group interview, and fortunately got hired in the end.
