When it comes to the issue about whether a good ability of adapting or adjusting to a new condition or circumstance is more important than knowledge in a job or in a field, people's opinion differs from person to person, and culture to culture. Some companies value the knowledge a person have, while others may prefer to choose an employee who can communicate well with the team workers on the contrary. On personal level, I support the latter one for the reasons of a better teamwork result and one can learn more knowledge if he immerges in one group.

 

It is true that a skillful worker who have a better understanding of the knowledge related with specific job has his merits. It means that one could come up with a solution to a specific problem more quickly and accurately than everyone else in the team. This is pretty obvious. However, at the same time, he may just too complacent with his own achievement that he cannot appreciate others' effort to finish the project.  People are willing to make friends who can always encouraging he or she to go on. So, the one who have a good command of knowledge but cannot adapting to the new environment is not welcomed. What's more, due to the lack of communication, they may have trouble to arrange the work well. As a result, they may find themselves both do some part of the work, while forget about another. When taking more factors that bad adjusting to circumstance can cause, as far as I am concerned, a better adjustment overweighs a better understanding of knowledge.

 

Additionally, better adaption is the key to learn more knowledge and make friends around him. That is, one can learn the things he needed if he can better adapt to the circumstances. Although, one may have trouble to fix the problems that are arranged to him at the very beginning, he do make some friends around him in the new circumstances. These friends can make his fragile heart stronger again and give him the useful advice on how to handle the problems he is facing with. So, every day he spends may seems hard at first, but he is really welcomed by others and at the same time he finally masters the knowledge he needed even more than the ones who at first have more knowledge but have trouble in adapting to the new circumstances.

 

In short, from what has been discussed above, we may safely draw the conclusion that a good ability of adapting or adjusting to a new condition or circumstance is more important than knowledge in a job or in a field.
