MT6165 Transceiver RF Overview:
▪ Low cost dual-mode RF solution (GGE and TD-SCDMA through Rel. 8 (HSPA+))
– Quad-band GGE (GSM850/900/DCS/PCS)
– Tri-band TDD(B34/B39/B40)
▪ SAW-less Direct-Conversion (B34/B39) and digital low-IF receiver (GGE)
– Supports GGE HB+B34/B39 co-banding to reduce RX port requirement in single-talk application
– Supports 7 different RX ports for dual
▪ Direct-Modulation (TDD)/Polar(EPSK)/TPM (GMSK) TX
– No external SAW filters required for transmission (TD-SCDMA/GGE)
– Supports EDGE PA reuse for TDD TX

▪ There are two configurations in LTE dual talk device: 2G+3G/4G and 2G/3G+4G.
MT6165 supports 2nd RF TRx in the two types of LTE phones. We focus on 2G+3G/4G dual talk; MT6165 TD is never used in this configuration.
