sensation = sens + ation[n.] = sense /让所有人都感知= 感觉/ 轰动事件
insensible = in[not] + sens + ible[a.] =not able to sense
=单纯的感觉不能/ 故意对某事表现的无感觉/ 对礼节无感觉
->无知觉的/ 漠不关心的/ 粗俗的
insensitive = in[not] + sensitive = notsensitive
=单纯的不敏感/ 对待人接物不敏感
->不敏感的、麻木的/ 缺乏社交技巧的、缺乏机智圆滑的
assent = as[ad, to] + sent = to a sense,to the same sense = 同意
consent = con[together] + sent = sensetogether, 想法一致 = 同意
insentient = in[not] + sent + (i)ent[a.]= not sense = 无感觉的 / 一知半解的
sentinel = sent + in + el[n.] = 察觉(异常)的人 = 哨兵，看守
feeling 感情

antipathy = anti[against] + path + y[n.] =feeling aginst = 厌恶、令人反感的事物
apathy = a[without] + path + y[n.] =without feeling = 冷漠

=没有(加入个人)感情的 -> 客观公正的
impassive = im[not] + pass + ive[a.] = no feeling = 冷漠的
PS：pass还有“经过、通过”的含义，如：
surpass = sur[over] + pass = pass over (sb./ in best)
= 超越、强于 / 突破(界限记录等)
trespass = tres[trans, across] + pass =pass across(without permission) = 非法入侵、冒犯
encompass = en[in] + compass[范围]= (make) in compass = 包围 / 包含
