- 【ɝ】这个音需要卷舌， 而且发音一开始就必须卷舌到位。发音时口型微微张开， 舌头中部抬起， 舌尖向上颚的后部卷起， 但不能碰到上颚， 这个音是个重读音， 只有发饱满了才有美感。

- 【ɚ】这是一个轻读的卷舌音， 只会出现在一个音节的非重音音节， 尤其是词尾的-er和-or。根据能量守恒定律， 非重音音节需要为重音音节匀出时间和重量， 所以这个音不可能有时间发的很卷很夸张
