knowledge-based skills,or specific skills you’ve learned either in school or by working,such as computer skills, a university degree
is what we would call transferable skills,which are the skills that you can take with you to different jobs,such as being able to mange people well,being able to solve problems
- personal traits ,’traits’ are qulities about you ,as a person,such as dependable and reliable
FInally,you want to be able to give specific evidence or examples of how these strengths that you are talking about about have helped you in your job in the past. you want to say”i’m reliable , for example……”
words and expressions
- take advantage of means to use an opportunity as much as possible - to get the maximum amount from an opportunity.”i’ve taken advantage of every opportunity to complete training to develop tecknical knowlege in the field.”
- planning skills are the ability to plan to organize sth, this is a transferable skill
- on task “i used my planning skills to make sure that the team was on task and on time”
- “my management skills came in handy to get the most out of each person on the team”
- came in handy means they were convenient
- to get the most out of someone means to get the maximum benefit - to get as much as possbile of something from someone
- to be flexible means to be able to adapt - to change yourself to a new situation
- shift gears means to be able to change what you are doing ,”ability to change gears when the project changed quickly and do something in a different way”
- hard work is someone who is very serious about what they do, who make sure that they work a lot of hours
my answer
For the technical level, I like to summarize and share with others.For example, when i self learing programming,or when i coding sth, after i finished a stage, i will write a summary about what problems i met , or my thoughts is how to get here, and put it on my blog .And there’re thousands of people visiting my technical articles and share opinion with me .
On the other hands, I am a person who knows teamwork.I can always find my place in the team.For example，When I was in college, I was in the college basketball team. To be honest, my level is very general. But I am very gregarious in this team, because I always play the most defensive one. In addition to the game, I will take the initiative to take on some of the team’s work.So everyone still recognizes me.
