CHALLENGE TRACKS
Wider Challenge 由计算机视觉顶会 ECCV 举办的顶级挑战赛之一，比赛及结果公布于 ECCV 会前，颁奖仪式及相关研讨会安排在大会期间。Wider Challenge 是计算机视觉检测领域的基准比赛，含金量很高，在一定程度上可以清晰反映参赛方技术力量的实况和积淀。
Overview
We organize a new challenge in conjunction with ECCV 2018. The challenge centers around the problem of precise localization of human faces and bodies, and accurate association of identities. It comprises of three tracks:
比赛旨在解决人体检测领域的 3 个核心问题：人脸的精确定位，人体的精确定位，以及人物身份精确匹配。为此，Wider Challenge 2018 相应地分为 3 个比赛 (track)：
WIDER Face, aims at soliciting new approaches to advance the state-of- the-art in face detection.
WIDER Pedestrian, has the goal of gathering effective and efficient approaches to address the problem of pedestrian detection in unconstrained environments.
WIDER Person Search, presents an exciting challenge of searching persons across 192 movies.

WIDER Pedestrian, 目标是收集有效而高效的新方法，优化解决自然场景之下的行人检测问题。
WIDER Person Search, 从 192 部电影中进行目标精确匹配的人物搜索。
Datasets and Submission
Datasets are available at the Codalab site of each challenge track (WIDER Face, WIDER Pedestrian, WIDER Person Search). Submissions to all phases will be done through the CodaLab site. Please register to the site and refer to the instructions on how to download the datasets and submit your results.

Prizes
The winner team of each track will receive cash prize and AWS credits. Challenge participants with the most successful and innovative methods will be invited to present at the workshop and to co-author the challenge paper report.
