笔者在使用ceph做块存储应用时，让KVM虚拟机中虚拟的硬盘使用ceph存储，ceph搭建步骤不再累赘，本文主要是做一个错误解决的记录过程。
在客户机安装好ceph客户端环境，软件包为ceph-common，命令正常安装，软件可以。但笔者在为虚拟机创建磁盘镜像时，报了以下错误：
➜ ~ rbd create vm2-image --image-feature layering --size 10G
rbd: strict_strtoll: garbage at end of string. got: '10G'第一时间在网上查阅资料，并没有找到相关的解决方案，在这种情况下，只能尝试着自己找出问题所在了。
查看ceph-common软件的安装过程历史：

使用正常的客户机的ceph-common版本是10.2.2
找到问题所在了。
笔者把旧版本的ceph-common卸载：
➜ ~ yum -y remove ceph-common.x86_64但是再安装时还是装成旧版本的。
在网络下载一个高版本的rpm包，笔者这里下载的时10.2.2版本的包：
ceph-10.2.2-0.el7.x86_64.rpm
➜ ~ wget http://mirrors.aliyun.com/ceph/rpm-jewel/el7/x86_64/ceph-10.2.2-0.el7.x86_64.rpm使用yum安装(注意下载的ceph-10.2.2-0.el7.x86_64.rpm 需要在当前目录才能这样使用yum安装)，但是有三个依赖包是rhel7.4镜像里面没有的
➜ ~ yum -y install ceph-10.2.2-0.el7.x86_64.rpm
……

您可以尝试添加 --skip-broken 选项来解决该问题安装过程中会显示一些错误信息，但是笔者在后面的使用中发现并不会造成什么影响，接下来查看ceph-common的软件信息：
