起因
安装了nvidia驱动后，用nvidia-smi命令仍然报错
NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn't communicate with the NIVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.
尝试
在软件和更新中修改驱动，如果找不到软件和更新，可以搜索 software&update
之前使用的不是推荐的驱动，改一下，然后重启。
