解决mysql end报错Error Code: 1064. You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'end' at line 6问题

这是我的初始报错的代码：

1 create procedure search_sc (student_no varchar(6))
2     begin
3         select sc.* 
4         from sc
5         where sno= student_no
6     end;

会报这个错误，“Error Code: 1064. You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'end' at line 6问题”

解决后：

delimiter //
create procedure search_sc (student_no varchar(6))    
    begin
        select sc.* 
        from sc
        where sno= student_no;
    end //

原来是因为mysql解释器根据‘；’来结束读取命令执行命令，在多个‘；’号时，解释器不知到在哪一句结束读取命令执行命令，而delimiter的作用是，将sql结束读取命令并执行命令的标志，替换成delimiter后的标志（在本文是‘//’），这样只有当‘//’出现之后，mysql解释器才会执行这段语句。
