My /boot partition hit 100% and now I can't upgrade. Can't remove old kernels to make room

dpkg -l linux-image-\* | grep ^ii

ii  linux-image-3.11.0-19-generic              3.11.0-19.33~precise1               Linux kernel image for version 3.11.0 on 64 bit x86 SMP
ii  linux-image-3.11.0-20-generic              3.11.0-20.35~precise1               Linux kernel image for version 3.11.0 on 64 bit x86 SMP
ii  linux-image-3.11.0-22-generic              3.11.0-22.38~precise1               Linux kernel image for version 3.11.0 on 64 bit x86 SMP
ii  linux-image-3.11.0-23-generic              3.11.0-23.40~precise1               Linux kernel image for version 3.11.0 on 64 bit x86 SMP
ii  linux-image-3.11.0-24-generic              3.11.0-24.41~precise1               Linux kernel image for version 3.11.0 on 64 bit x86 SMP
ii  linux-image-generic-lts-saucy              3.11.0.24.21                        Generic Linux kernel image

 

 

You can use dpkg instead of apt-get to remove older kernels:

sudo dpkg -r linux-image-3.11.0-15-generic 

Now that I had some space on /boot, I was able to run
apt-get -f install 

apt-get autoremove
