My hometown is xxx, which is located in the east of xxx province. An ancient city with a rich history, xxx was also the first capital of thexxx dynasty. The rich culture also raised many famous cultural figures. Cangjie, the legendary inventor of Chinese characters, was living in xxx in the far-ancient periods. Zhuangzi, the great ancient philosopher of China, was born here. Another great philosopher, Mozi, living in the same period as Zhuangzi, was also a xxx native. The famous woman warrior, Hua Mulan, was also among the great figures of xxx. You know, there is a saying that “The greatness of a man lends a glory to a place”.
In addition, it is important geographically because it lies at a confluence of several major railway tracks.Therefore,the traffic is very convenient.
It is my beloved hometown.
2、介绍你的家庭（about your family）
In my family, there are five members. My farther, my mother, my brothers and I. My father is a worker, who works very hard, and is always fully occupied, so most of the housework is done by my mother. Of course, while I am at home, I will help her. I love my parents and they love me, too. When I am successful, they are more excited than me, and support me to do better. Even though I failed, instead of blaming me, they always share sorrow with me, and encourage me not to give up. During my preparation for the graduate examination, the support from my family is always my momentum. Parents’ love is unselfish.I am deeply affected, so I will do all that I can to repay them.
3、为什么选择专业Why do you choose this major?
Well, my major is xxx and I have great interest in it. xxx currently becomes increasingly important in the trend of globalization.
But when studying at college and during my internship, I have found I have many things to study, so it is very necessary and urgent for me to grasp firmly and comprehensively the relevant knowledge of the internet of things. That is why I choose this major for further education.

5、考研原因（Why do you want to be a postgraduate in this major ）
During the past four years, I have learned a lot of professional knowledge and practical skills, but gradually, I realize it is not enough. In my opinion, further study is actually urgent for me to realize and finally achieve self-value. Life is precious, it is necessary to catch any opportunity for self-development, specially in the competitive modern society. Therefore, I prefer to go on for further education.
6、研究生期间你的计划(about your future plans),你如何打算
Luckily, I got the chance to learn computer science and technology in xxx. I will concentrate on studying and research in this field. First, I will work hard to learn the theoretical knowledge, constructing a solid base for my future work; second I would like to do some practical work with the help of the supervisor and classmates. And through this ,I can get something that cannot be acquired from the textbook. If possible,I will go on with my study for a doctorate degree.
7、What do you think is your best quality and worst quality?
My best quality is that I am able to work hard. I may not be the best, but I always try my best. I still remember the time when I prepared for the graduate school admission test. I got up early and went to bed late. I kept on learning from dusk to dawn. I cut off the contact with my friends, which could help me concentrate. Eventually my efforts have paid off. Talking about my worst quality, I think that I am not an outward person; sometime I am shy to express myself. I hope I can seize the chance now and become a master candidate in your university.
8、Can you describe your favorite book?
I have read many kinds of books, among them I found “the old man and the sea” by Ernest Hemingway the most encouraging. This book tells a story of an old man from Havana fighting against a gigantic marlin. I was deeply impressed by the old man’s persistence on not giving up and his strong will to fight against bad luck. From the book I have learned success only belongs to those who are persistent and patient. Never say no to failure. The influence has still worked on me although I read the book ten years ago.
