Opal/Engima News~
As many of you know, we have found some things linking us to OPAL Project. But everything we have found previously has been 2015/16/17, nothing in 2018. I have written to all the email addresses i could find linked to OPAL, and even to some of the people that were in meetings with OPAL/Enigma in 2015. I never heard back from anyone :( I tried many times to get the Engima team to say something on the matter, and it always fell on deaf ears as well.
However, there have been a few other people that have started to go down this rabbit hole with me, and I am very very much appreciative of the help! One of those people is an Enigma Ambassador, and he also decided to reach out to the OPAL team..... and he got a response~!
"...in short both enigma and opal originated at mit and are still in great part led by Sandy Pentland and his group and students and former students and affiliates —as I am; so there are connections; the current opal pilots in Senegal and Colombia that I direct do not yet make or mention a connection but it will be the case in the future as both are part of the same group of people and vision. I hope this helps?"
When we received this email response we were super excited. It isn't a 100% confirmation on what they are working on together, but that there are connections going on with OPAL on things. The primary question we asked was if Enigma was involved in the Senegal and Colombia projects that OPAL is in. While the answer is NO right now, it does seem that they know for sure Enigma will be involved in the future. We see this as a HUGE thing, finally getting someone to mention that yes they are still tied together. My super secret ambassador friend asked the Enigma team if it was ok for them to share the email with me and to post it here, and the team said YES. So its great that they aren't denying anything either.
In other news, Guy posted on telegram chat that Yves-Alexandre de Montjoye was his office mate for awhile. Guess what Yves is tied into? ......OPAL~!
So we have OPAL confirming they are still tied to us, we have Guy stating he was in close proximity to Yves for awhile, and we have Enigma tied to Remo Fray( links below) who is also tied into OPAL.
Things are getting more and more exciting as pieces slowly start coming together.

Lets all come together, talk and discuss what might be happening, do some more research and see what we can uncover~! These are some very very exciting times for blockchain. Lets all enjoy it together.
And maybe if we get lucky the Enigma team will throw us a bone and feed us a little bit of info~!
