25-year-old female employee engaged in copywriting was fired for ChatGPT

According to the Washington Post, generative AI represented by ChatGPT has swept the world, and the previously raised unemployment concerns have become a reality.

The report uses the perspective of 25-year-old female employee Olivia Lipkin (Olivia Lipkin) to explore the impact of this AI wave on the career development of employees and the subsequent development of unemployed groups.

Lipkin, 25, works as a copywriter for a tech start-up. After OpenAI launched ChatGPT in November last year, Lipkin didn't have much emotion.

But in the next few months, the company manager called her Olivia/ChatGPT on Slack, and she was officially fired by the company in April this year.

Lipkin didn't get a reason for her dismissal from the company, but she found that company managers have been writing about it. The main point is that ChatGPT is cheaper than hiring a full-time copywriter, which she believes is the main reason.
