2. About learning
One is the analysis tool, first of all you must master the most basic Excel and SQL .
Among them, Excel can be used to clean data, make pivot tables, vlookup related queries, and data visualization.
At the same time, you can use SQL to perform basic additions, deletions, modifications, and queries. SQL is also a language, just like the Chinese and English we use for communication, but it is a language for communicating with databases.
After mastering the basic rules, practice more frequently to make it an expression of the subconscious mind, and you will get twice the result with half the effort. From personal experience, after mastering Excel and SQL, you can start submitting resumes for interviews.
In the process of finding a job, learn Python at the same time. Compared with the difference between Excel and Python for data processing, most of the current data analyst positions have Python skills as a bonus item, so this will not delay the progress of job hunting, and can further improve themselves in the future. lay the foundation.
The second is analysis methods , learning data analysis methods from the perspectives of What, Why, and How. For example: multi-dimensional dismantling analysis method, hypothesis testing analysis method, comparative analysis analysis method, correlation analysis method.
After mastering the basic knowledge of these analysis methods, you need to carry out targeted exercises. I recommend Monkey Teacher's best-selling book "Data Analysis Thinking" . The book provides different analysis cases for different industries. Quantitative changes lead to qualitative changes. If you read more cases, your own analysis ideas will gradually form.
For different industries and different business scenarios, a series of questions such as what analysis method can be used and why this analysis method should be used will disappear.
The third is indicators . Because the analysis indicators used by different industries and companies are generated according to their actual business scenarios.
So don't imagine that you can learn all the indicators, master common indicators in the learning process, and understand the definition and application scenarios of indicators.
In your own analysis project, you need to analyze the corresponding common indicators, and you can find problems from the perspective of indicators and draw conclusions. After finding a job and actually entering the job, you can carefully study the corresponding indicators of the company's business understanding.
3. About the interview
