まず、カーネルはSQLステートメントを解析してASTを生成し、ASTに従ってInterpreter:InterpreterInsertQueryを取得します。次に、Interpreterは対応するOutputStreamを順番に追加します。次に、InputStreamからデータを読み取り、OutputStreamに書き込みます。ストリームはレイヤーごとに浸透し、基盤となるストレージエンジンに書き込みます。最後に、Socket Outputに書き込み、結果を返します。
ClickHouseのOutputStreamレイアウトはさらに複雑で、パイプラインのようなスケジューリングとオーケストレーションが欠けていますが、モデルが固まっているため、現時点では明らかなようです。
