Problem: After installing dual system, Windows time is always better than Ubuntu late eight hours.
Cause: The hardware-based system set time period, Ubuntu using UST time, Windows using CST time. Each time the system automatically sets the time period will change hardware, so after each switching system, the display clock is not always accurate.
Solution: time to synchronize the two.
- Windows enabled UTC;
- Ubuntu disabled UTC.
detailed steps:
1.Windows enable UTC:
After win + r input regedit start Registry Editor, find the following positions
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/TimeZoneInformation/
Add a key of type REG_DWORD named RealTimeIsUniversal, the value of 1, and then return to normal i.e. reboot time.
2. Ubuntu disabled UTC:
Desktop, right-Open Terminal (Terminal), type the command
sudo vim /etc/default/rcS
The UTC = yes instead UTC = no.
