前阵子,由Netflix拍的《美国工厂》纪录片火了,讲的是中国玻璃大王曹德旺到美国俄亥俄州去建工厂的故事。

其中一幕是:

一位勤恳的老工人在美国福耀玻璃工作两年后,被解雇了。理由是,他操作电脑的速度太慢,无法跟上生产节奏。

几位高管陪同曹德旺在车间巡视时,脸上洋溢着骄傲地微笑说:

我听过很多关于XX岗位饱和的吐槽。不可否认,有小部分岗位确实进入供需瓶颈期,但它们对人才的需求并非停止,而是开始切换方向。

更何况,多数人的上升空间还没有到100%取决于外界的程度。

就像多数人的努力程度,还轮不到拼天赋一样。

松下幸之助曾说:商业没有所谓的景气、不景气,无论任何情况,非赚钱不可。

深以为然。

经济不好你生意还是要做,行业不行你要想办法破局,饭碗端不稳你就得采取措施牢牢抓住饭碗。

你最该考虑的是:

第一,这行业的门槛够不够高?如果门槛低到谁都可以做,无挑战无变化,难免出现恶性竞争或岗位价值日益式微(36岁收费站大姐失业,就是个典型例子)

第二,你的核心竞争力在哪里同样的岗位,水平差距可以超过108条大街。公司和客户为什么要选择你?你能提供哪些特殊价值?它们是你的护城河,也是你安身立命的东西。

一个机遇的含金量,从来不是取决于它本身,而是取决于你有多少筹码把握好它。

坦白讲,许多人骨子里害怕变化和竞争。

其实大可不必。

一来,怕也没用嘛。二来,变化越快,组合要素增加了,意味着新的工作机会越多

就像传统媒体VS新媒体。

放在10年前连“新媒体”这三个字都没问世,可如今已成为360°覆盖人们的事物。曾经从事纸媒行业的人,开始新模式转型;曾经写书写博客的作者,转移到公众号和微博,以另外一种形式继续写作。

再比如外卖和网约车。

大概5年前,网约车刚出现没多久,我所在城市有大量的士司机跑到交通运输部门集体抗议,要求针对网约车采取限制措施。

5年后——

我们有了网络代驾、共享自行车、共享汽车……以及积累的大量语音、图像、场景感知、地图、安全出行等数据,而且相关技术服务开始迁移至城市交通、物流、金融等多领域。

当初谁又能想到,一个网约车技术能发展衍生出如此多的环节和岗

再回头看很多人担心的,学计算机的人和程序员,有没有可能遇到市场饱和的情况?

只能说,可能性极小,至少目前。

我们国家人工智能、云计算机、大数据快速发展,IT领域需要的专业人才持续增加,尤其是高质量人才和新职业人才的缺口很大。

我以前曾在文章中聊过,仅人社部等官方在今年联合发布了13个平均年薪25万的新职业,就有100万以上的市场缺口。

它们都是以计算机为基础,生根发芽的新物种。

我一位Java开发的年轻同事,水平一般。上周他和我聊天时无意中说:

“还是UI设计师工资高啊,我最近也在学PS,看看以后有机会是不是可以转行。”

哎,想什么呢。

你开发水平不行,应该先想办法提高技能而不是跑去学UI啊。第一职业才刚起步,做得摇摇欲坠,就算学再多三脚猫功夫又怎么可能占有一席之地?

人家雇用你,永远是看你最拿得出手的职业水平,而非学了多少样不成熟的技能

不少人过于强调外界,而忽视了自己

行业是否饱和从来不是关键,关键的还是人。

有的人觉得,行业工资太低、发展缓慢,焦虑之下频繁跳槽转行,最终在眼花缭乱的新闻和起伏不定的工资数字中迷失了自己。

有的人觉得,技术只是让人换了一种工作方式,旧的消褪新的来临,它们更有趣、更有潜力,于是努力加快脚步跟上,尽力让工作价值不褪色。

工作有2个部分,主观+客观。

客观不会迁就你,该来的、该变化,都将像靴子掉落般一一发生。而人的主观则是更重要的部分,你需要知道别人眼下需要什么,你能提供什么,方可站稳脚跟。

最后我想说,不安全感是常态,适度焦虑也是常态,只是,希望我们都能积极地跑起来,别做那个脆弱的人
