After the South Korean government, the Polish government has also increased the use of Linux

Some time ago, the South Korean government has drafted a strategy ready to adopt Linux-based open source operating system completely replace Windows 7, in order to get rid of dependence on them. Currently, Poland's social insurance company ZUS (Zakład Ubezpieczeń Społecznych) has also been announced , an agreement with Linux Polska, to provide an integrated server with a three-year support service virtualization solutions, the new solution will allow the development and optimization of ZUS IT systems.

ZUS is affiliated with the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of Poland's public sector body responsible for dealing with social and health insurance company's account data.

According to reports, the theme of this order is to buy an integrated virtualization solution has a 24/7 technical support. Linux Polska agreed to Red Hat virtualization , Red Hat the Satellite  and  Red Hat Enterprise Linux   software to provide 24/7 support. In addition, the solution provided by Linux Polska will also ensure the possibility of compiling across all systems running in a virtual machine high availability cluster.

Poland will implement Linux provides an integrated platform for virtualization and high availability clusters (including) to:

  • Simplifies the management of multiple servers from a central point,
  • Unlimited scalability owned IT infrastructure physical servers,
  • Launch applications faster in virtual environments,
  • The process of detecting and removing the threat of automation systems,
  • Configuring applications and resources in high availability mode.

In addition to ZUS, other ministries and central agencies in Poland (eg central information center, the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education and digitization) has reached a cooperation with Linux Polska.
