VeraCrypt 1.24 Update 4 is now available. VeraCrypt is TrueCrypt branch, was released in June 2013, the main developer of the project is from the French security consultant Mounir Idrassi. New in this version are as follows:
- Fixed a regression cause damage to the label head expander and format encryption is enabled RAM
- By default, the newly introduced disable memory protection and add CLI switch (/ protectMemory) to enable it when necessary to repair a screen reader (accessibility support) can not be read UI issues
- CVE-2019-19501 repair and repair-related side effects, the side effects lead to link the UI can not be opened
