Chrome will be improved on a regular basis, but the "file" has been a long time remained relatively unchanged. The first is the highlight of the current directory and directory using a circular cover, and cover applications for a new color scheme. Secondly, almost all can help users to identify at a glance intuitive icon for each folder has been replaced with Google Material Theme-friendly icons. Another interesting change is that by shortening the top of the bar to provide more vertical space for the directory view.

Overall, these changes are almost exactly the same application with Google Material Theme (such as Gmail on Android and Web) navigation drawer. Currently, all the improvements apply only to the directory pane. Master file browser view and still uses its classic design icon. It is expected that the rest of the "File" application will be similar redesign in the coming weeks.
