Currently, Google launched the Chrome 79 has been stopped for Android.

As we all know, Google  Chrome 79  last week officially launched for the supported desktop and mobile operating systems. However, after Chrome 79 for Android release soon, some users began posting on the official claim that the Chrome Help Forum, available data in Chrome 78 failed to migrate to Chrome79.

According to Google has said that the new version of the utilization rate reached 50% of the entire user base already. But it is worth noting that not all offer the newer devices have the tool installed. Preliminary data show that only 10% of people deployed a new version.

For user feedback, developers have begun on the Chromium bug tracker website report the problem, and pointed out an update to Chrome 79 will remove local storage and websql.

While Chrome may work when you open the browser site, but rely WebView function of the application will be affected by the error.

Some applications available to use this component provides access to Web sites or applications on Google Play, and these applications to use local storage options (such as WebSQL or localStorage) to save user data locally.

In other words: it is no longer loaded by any application data stored locally, e.g. personalized and customized applications, files, or credentials. In summary, it appears that although Google migrated data, but forgot to cover several key part of the migration process. According to further analysis showed that the data still exists, but the application will not load the data.

According to  Zdnet  it reported that a developer said encrypted login information from the user no longer available, and can not remember their user login information will no longer be able to access their accounts.

From the user's point of view, it seems that all the contents have been reset, which led to the official Play Store application has been a lot of negative comments. "Because of all users currently lost all stored data, so my current application has been well received 1 star review."

Today, Google engineers still discussing solutions to the problem. Although you can migrate data, but due to the implementation of the update, it may be overwritten by new data created by users.

Applications affected by that error will be displayed as a new installation, no user data is saved. At this point, users still do not know if you can recover the data.
