Lenovo plans to launch Android PC

Lenovo recently announced plans to produce Android PCs. The company will  cooperate with Esper  to redesign its desktop all-in-one ThinkCentre M70a. " This all-in-one machine will represent Lenovo's first step into the Android field." Esper is a company that specializes in providing Android customization services and device management products.

ThinkCentre M70a features a 21.5-inch FHD edge-to-edge display. The current version uses Intel processors and can be configured from the entry-level i3 to the powerful i9 chip. The M70a currently uses the Windows 11 operating system, but it has been revealed that the new version will use the Android system.

Lenovo said that the ThinkCentre M70a is mainly aimed at enterprise customers and hopes that it will attract enterprises in the retail and hospitality industries. In addition, Lenovo also plans to cooperate with Esper to launch the Android-based ThinkCentre M70q, as well as the Windows-based ThinkEdge SE30 and ThinkCentre M90n-1 IoT.

Currently, the closest thing to Android in the desktop computer field is products such as HP's Chromebase AIO, which can run Android applications through the Google Play Store thanks to the use of ChromeOS.
