.NET Framework released in December of safety and quality Summary

December 2019 safety and quality .NET Framework rollup update is available.

It is reported that this version includes the following improved quality and reliability:

ASP.NET

  • Now, when HttpCookie.SameSite value is "None", ASP.NET will issue SameSite cookie headers to accommodate the forthcoming changes in Chrome's processing of SameSite cookie. As part of this change, although you can override these values in web.config, but FormsAuth and SessionState cookie or will use SameSite = 'Lax' issue, instead of the previous default value 'None'. For more information, please refer to the use SameSite cookie in ASP.NET .

CLR

  • Solve some ClickOnce applications or use restricted permission set creates a default AppDomain of the application, the problem may be observed application is started or an application running on failure or unexpected behavior.

WPF

  • Addresses the following issues: Some Per-Monitor Aware WPF application (host System-Aware and Unaware child-windows or running on .NET 4.8), sometimes because exceptionSystem.Collections.Generic.KeyNotFoundException collapse.
