Windows Terminal v0.7 release: support for split-screen, rearrange tabs and UI improvements

Windows Terminal is Microsoft's new terminal application, including the provision command prompt, PowerShell and WSL, including command-line tools and Shell. Recently passed Microsoft Store, Microsoft released version 0.7 update. The major version update introduces many new features, including support for multi-panel, rearrange the tabs, UI improvements, and so on.

The main new features in Windows Terminal v0.7

Multi-panel

Users can now be called Windows Terminal window separating multiple panels, which allows users to open multiple command-line panels simultaneously on the current tab.

Reorder label

Now you can sort of adjustment tabs

Prohibit the application title

Now, you can disable all applications that run in the title sent Terminal change events. This means that you can "name" or "tabTitle" personal data displayed in the label, without the need for updates!

Improved User Interface

Terminal no longer have thick border. The new version of the border should be fine lot, it will display your color when stressed and set the border in the "Colors" page Windows settings.

BUG repair

  • In the end of the line when pasting normal behavior
  • Alt + arrow keys no longer print extra characters
  • When the content of the page scroll to the top, paste operations will use "snapOnInput" automatically scrolls to the following command line position
  • Quickly open or close the label could cause a crash reduction

Cascadia Code Update

  • Now supports Greek, Cyrillic and Vietnamese
  • Now offers powerline (Cascadia Code PL) version
