Image editor GIMP 2.10.14 released

GIMP 2.10.14 released. GIMP is a cross-platform image editor that can be used to GNU / Linux, OS X, Windows and other operating systems.

The new version, many of the old filter GIMP has been ported to the core image processing library GEGL. If you often use photo filter, then this is big news, because GEGL support can not only improve the overall performance, but also can provide (on-canvas) Preview "on the canvas."

Further, in the foreground GIMP 2.10.14 selected tool having the new "gradation" preview mode and "color" preview color / opacity selector.

Other updates:

  • "View" menu in the "Show All" (Show All) option can display pixels outside the canvas boundaries

  • Improved interaction copy and paste "free choice" tool
  • New types of image conversion may convert the entire image
  • Preferences in a new "invisible allows the layers for editing" settings

Finally, the new version also HEIF import / export process improves color profile support; PDF export now be exported as text text layer; TIFF import asks how to handle unspecified TIFF channel.
