Endless OS 3.6.3 release, this version of the main improvements include:
Restrict access to the Web browser
Now you can restrict user access to the Web browser control by parents. This will prevent users from running the built-in Web browser or any browser provided by Application Center (including Chrome and Firefox).
Parental control administrator
Parents can now be applied to control the standard user and administrator user. This allows you to (for example) violent games hidden from the application center, or prevent certain applications installed their own run (similar to the "digital health" feature on other platforms). If your administrator user password is set, you need a password to change these settings.
Fixed startup and logon error
Between 3.6.0 and 3.6.2, there are two known issues that may prevent you start or log on to your computer. This version have solved both problems.
Certain types of disk damage will prevent the computer starts; instead, they will display the message "emergency mode to enter exit the shell to continue.." In this version, the boot process will continue, but you may not be able to create new files until the issue is resolved. If you encounter this error, follow these instructions 1 to recover.
Between 3.6.0 and 3.6.2, if you save the file on disk is corrupted notice, when you select a user on the login screen, the desktop will never appear. This release resolves an issue. If you are affected by this problem, you have three choices:
- Log in as a different user, and upgrade to this version of Endless OS
- If you can not log in as a different user, please try to follow these instructions 2 to switch back to the old Endless OS, and then update the operating system

Updated hardware support
Many hardware-specific issues have been resolved.
- Now, before we pause and resume hanging on a black screen after some AMD platform, the screen will open correctly.
- Realtek RTL8723BS WiFi device should now be more securely connected to the wireless network.
- Recently compatibility with Realtek 8822CE WiFi connection issues have been resolved.
Other improvements and changes
- Built-in Chromium Web browser has been updated to version 76.0.3809.132, for new features and important security fixes.
- When you try to run certain games, the desktop is no longer frozen, including SuperTuxKart and Minetest.
- Settings → application no longer displays "Get Spotify", "get Skype" and other open App Center only starter.
- Croatian keyboard layout has been repaired, type sign when you press §
AltGr + M. - Display software license service now only respond to requests from the local system. Deprecated "xapian bridge" service has been deleted.
