Set of elements

Set of elements: the collection are all elements.

Notation  set is usually represented by uppercase letters, lowercase letters are usually elements. The term " \ (P \) is \ (A \) elements" is equivalent to " \ (P \) belonging \ (A \) ", referred to as \ (P \ in A \) .

Epitaxial axiom  two sets \ (A \) and \ (B \) are equal if and only if the same elements thereof. If the set \ (A \) and \ (B \) are equal, referred to as \ (A = B \) , otherwise referred to as \ (A \ B NE \) .

Represents a set of  the set of representation There are two basic approaches: the enumeration element, two elements are characteristic properties described. For example: \ (V = \ {A, E, I, O, U \} \) or \ (V = \ {x \ | \ x \ text { vowel} \} \) .
