We are busy promoting domestic chip, while next door in India have not been idle. As the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) of the top universities of Madras, India's first campus has released its processor "Shakti" (on behalf of female power figure in Hindu mythology) of the SDK software development kit, and promised to soon release development board.

Thus, before the commercial processor market, developers have to start developing software.

India Shakti processor 2016 starts to develop, set architectures based on open source RISC-V command, received strong support from the Indian electronics and IT Ministry.

The first Shakti processor on the planning up to six different series, each for different markets, known as compared to the core area, performance, power consumption of the current commercial processors are very competitive.
