Proxmox VE 6.0 released, based on Debian10.0 Buster

Proxmox VE 6.0 has been released, Proxmox VE (Proxmox Virtual Environment) is a great integrated  OPENVZ  support  KVM  application environments. Version 6.0 includes updates to the latest version for the virtual environment of open source technologies, such as the 5.0 Linux kernel (based on Ubuntu 19.04 "Disco Dingo"), QEMU 4.0.0, LXC 3.1.0, Ceph 14.2 (Nautilus), ZFS 0.8. 1 and Corosync 3.0.2. Proxmox VE 6.0 provides several new features and fix errors.

  • Ceph Nautilus (14.2) and improved CJoseph dashboard management: allows the use Proxmox VE / Ceph-cluster to set up and manage Superconvergence infrastructure, 6.0 integrates the latest ceph 14.2 version features, and for the web-based user interface with to many new management features
  • The installer now supported by ZFS root UEFI, for example, on the start mirrored ZFS NVMe SSD
  • Promxox VE 6.0 includes new features of QEMU
  • Proxmox VE 6.0 provides support for custom snippet Cloudinit configuration, and allows the user to store it as
  • Corosync now uses unicast as the default transmission method
  • ZFS new features include enhanced security and data protection, because by integrating encryption directly into the "zfs" utility, added support for native encryption key handling and comfort of

Other changes:

  • Auto clean up old kernel image: old kernel image problem no longer marked as 'NeverAutoRemove', which helps to prevent installation on a small partition / When the boot
  • Improved ISO installer detection: Setup Detection ISO manner has been redesigned to include more devices to relieve the problems on some hardware detection 
  • You can now create backup tasks for the entire pool
  • Automatically rotates once every 24 hours authentication key: The keys lifetime limit of 24 hours, can reduce the impact of key leakage or malicious administrator
  • Node view user interface provides faster syslog view
