Lesson 5 English sentence elements

English sentence by a general subject portion (subject group) and the predicate portion (predicate group) composition.
Sentence elements comprising: 主语(Subject), 谓语(the predicateA), 宾语(Object), 补语(complement), 表语(predicative), 定语(attribute) and 状语(adverbial). Compared with the Chinese, more than a predicative, respectively, explain below:
Subject: As the name suggests, is the subject of the sentence is the narrative of the object.
Predicate: Subject described 动作状态generally act verb.
Object: representation 动作的对象.
Complement: 补充说明主语或者宾语, called the main object complement and supplement.
Predicative: 位于连系动词之后的主语补语, linking verbs except be, also become, look, turn, go, seem, appear, feel, sound, smell, etc.
Attribute: 限定或修饰名词或名词词组usually an adjective.
Adverbial:修饰动词、形容词、副词、或全句的 .
eg Excellent Tony was officially elected the winner of the debate. (excellent Tony was officially selected as the winner of the debate competition.) In this sentence, the subject is Tony, the predicate is the elect, the object is the winner of the debate, which winner is subject complement, adverbial is Officially, attribute is excellent, it was associated with a verb.
