拉利伯特现在新成立了一个专门的团队“红月亮娱乐”（Lune Rouge Entertainment），来创意制作他们的首个多媒体作品《回声之外》（Au-delà des échos）。
和太阳马戏团的大帐篷遥相呼应的“金字塔”，也是为新作品专门建造的，取名就叫PY1。PY1有25米高，可拆装，就是说，未来这个多媒体秀连同它的展出空间，都可以被“运输”到世界其他城市。
当我们走进“PY1金字塔”的时候，里面很昏暗。
在塔尖的穹顶下，四周是沙发，中间有靠垫，可供观众坐下或躺下。但是想站着看也完全没问题，因为“幕布”都在头顶上，不担心挡住别人的视线。
我觉得躺下的姿势真的是最好的。
小时候去乡下，躺在竹床上仰望星空的记忆还残存着。后来就很难有这种体验。有一年和同事去湖南黑麋峰，走在水库大坝上四野开阔，头上的星空闪耀，但因为风很大或者蚊子很多，当时也没有想过要找地方躺下，欣赏一下夜空——果真人长大了，就很难去做一些简单的事情了。
但拉利伯特创造的这个“金字塔穹顶”，相当于一个介于“圆顶罩子”和“立方体盒子”之间的空间，所以既有天空的笼罩感，又很适合投影观看。
我去过蒙特利尔天文馆看穹幕投影，讲的是星座的故事。但那个穹顶离得比较远，也没有安排特别的音效，留下的印象自然远不如《回声之外》震撼。
据说天文馆的投影仪价值约300万加币，而《回声之外》的全部技术设备加上PY1金字塔的搭建成本就是2500万加币，PY1的设计费还有500万。PY1装备上的，包括增强现实、5G连入等全套有关器材。拉利伯特曾对记者说，《回声之外》只利用了PY1 40%的可能性。
当然更重要的还是，这本来就是一个专业制作的秀呀。
同去的朋友说，看到中途感觉像一个大型蹦迪现场。确实，在某些激烈的段落中，电子乐的节奏感配合激光画面，是能让人记起在长沙解放西路的酒吧里、身体被音浪拍打的情景。
不过整体回忆一下55分钟的《回音之外》演出，很容易感受到制作者并不限于声光电的感官刺激，还想要表达一个“宏大叙事线”：宇宙大爆炸、生命源起、文明进阶、我们对人的探索、心灵对自然的融入……等等，时而壮烈，时而舒缓，变幻着节奏。
到后半段，时不时插入一个男人的声音，讲一些启迪性的话语。我当时觉得，这个主持人的声音一点都不磁性啊。后来才知道，这个声音不是主持人，而是英国思想家Alan Watts的原声录音资料，由他的儿子提供的版权。《回音之外》整个作品的灵感，都来自Alan Watts的哲学思想。
《La Presse》的记者Mario Girard看完试映场，居然有念头要去翻出这个老思想家的著作再好好读一读。
其实在B站上，就有很多这位老思想家的讲演内容，有的还配了电影画面，若是好奇，可以像我一样去看看，省去买书、翻书的麻烦。
我个人看完《回声之外》，并没有感觉这有多了不起，但很庆幸自己选择了买票，没有错过这个用心的作品。
一个“作品”要如何变得完整且精良，这种经验是能互相参考对照的。《回声之外》的魅力，让我对沉浸式作品的体验多了一个金线标准的参照物。
