Recently, the 2023 Open Source Innovation List Expert Review Meeting , co-sponsored by the Science and Technology Communication Center of the China Association for Science and Technology, the China Computer Federation, the China Communications Society, and the Institute of Software of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and hosted by CSDN, came to a successful conclusion. The openKylin community won the Outstanding Open Source Community Award in the "2023 Open Source Innovation List". This is the second consecutive year that the openKylin community has been selected for the list.
The 2023 Open Source Innovation List targets China’s open source industry and selects open source projects, communities, and figures with innovation, contribution, and influence. Highlighting the principle of "advancing with the times and encouraging innovation", it aims to explore and promote my country's outstanding achievements and advanced experience in the field of open source technology.
Compared with previous years, the 2023 open source innovation list has significantly improved in terms of authority, credibility and professionalism .

The four organizers complement each other's strengths and jointly promote list planning, application collection, and expert review.

Focusing on the three categories of projects, communities, and people, the four organizers have polished more objective, rigorous, and realistic evaluation standards and more open, fair, and scientific evaluation methods. As China's leading open source operating system root community, the openKylin community has actively promoted the construction of an open source ecosystem since its establishment. Up to now, the openKylin community has released a total of 6 community versions, with more than 1 million downloads; it has gathered members from 400+ units, covering operating systems, databases, office software, CPUs, GPUs, complete machines, artificial intelligence advantageous enterprises and institutions of higher learning. It has 5,700+ developers and has established a total of 95 SIG groups to carry out technical research and innovation. A wide range of forces from industry, academia, research, and industry have joined the community to build a think tank foundation for the root technology innovation of the operating system.
