From January to October , the production of China's electronic information manufacturing industry continued to rebound, the decline in exports narrowed, efficiency continued to improve, investment grew steadily, and revenue differentiation between regions was obvious.
1. Production continues to pick up
From January to October, the added value of the electronic information manufacturing industry above designated size increased by 1.7% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 0.3 percentage points higher than the first three quarters; the growth rate was 2.4 percentage points and 0.2 percentage points lower than the industrial and high-tech manufacturing industries in the same period respectively. In October, the added value of the electronic information manufacturing industry above designated size increased by 4.8% year-on-year, 0.2 percentage points higher than the industry in the same period.
From January to October, among the main products, the output of mobile phones was 1.25 billion units, a year-on-year increase of 1.6%, of which 906 million smartphones were produced, a year-on-year decrease of 4.8%; the output of microcomputer equipment was 281 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 20.8%; the output of integrated circuits was 2765 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 4.8%. billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 0.9%; the output of optoelectronic devices was 1,175.3 billion, a year-on-year increase of 9.3%.
2. The decline in exports narrowed
From January to October, the export delivery value of the electronic information manufacturing industry above designated size fell by 6.9% year-on-year, 1.2 percentage points narrower than the decline in the first three quarters, and 2.7 percentage points deeper than the industrial decline in the same period. In October, the export delivery value of the electronic information manufacturing industry above designated size was the same as the same period last year.
According to customs statistics, from January to October, my country exported 117.74 million laptops, a year-on-year decrease of 18%; exported 642 million mobile phones, a year-on-year decrease of 6.5%; and exported 221.8 billion integrated circuits, a year-on-year decrease of 4.1%.
3. Continuous improvement of benefits
From January to October, the electronic information manufacturing industry above designated size achieved operating income of 12.1 trillion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 2.9%, 0.5 percentage points narrower than the decline in the first three quarters; operating costs were 10.5 trillion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 2.6%; total profits were achieved 482.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 18.2%, 0.4 percentage points narrower than the decline in the first three quarters; the operating income profit margin was 4%, the same as the first three quarters.
4. Investment grows steadily
From January to October, fixed asset investment in the electronic information manufacturing industry increased by 9.6% year-on-year, 0.7 percentage points higher than the growth rate of industrial investment in the same period, but 1.7 percentage points lower than the growth rate of high-tech manufacturing investment.
5. Revenue differentiation among regions is obvious
From January to October, the eastern region of the electronic information manufacturing industry above designated size achieved operating income of 8.2003 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 3%, 0.8 percentage points narrower than the decline in the first three quarters; the central region achieved operating income of 1.9834 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 3.9%. The decline narrowed by 1.3 percentage points compared with the first three quarters; the western region achieved operating income of 1,798.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 1.9%, which was 1.8 percentage points deeper than the decline in the first three quarters; the northeastern region achieved operating income of 82.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9%, a year-on-year decrease of 1.9%, and a 1.8 percentage point increase compared with the first three quarters. It fell by 0.5 percentage points in the first three quarters. The operating income of the electronic information manufacturing industry in the four regions accounted for 68.0%, 16.4%, 14.9% and 0.7% of the national share respectively.
From January to October, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region of the electronic information manufacturing industry above designated size achieved operating income of 599.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 6.3%, which was the same as the decline in the first three quarters, accounting for 5% of the national revenue; the Yangtze River Delta region achieved operating income of 3.399 billion yuan yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 3.8%, 1.1 percentage points narrower than the decline in the first three quarters, and revenue accounted for 28.2% of the country's total.
