- PieCloudDB compression efficiency improved
In order to save storage space and reduce user storage costs, PieCloudDB continuously optimizes the compression rate, including:
- Support Run Length Encoding for HLL (HyperLogLog)
- Support ZSTD (Zstandard) as the default compression algorithm
- Supports encoding methods such as Dict Encoding and Delta Encoding to reduce file size
PieCloudDB will continue to iterate in future versions to help users reduce costs and increase efficiency.
- Support whitelist configuration in external connection tool PieProxy
PieCloudDB cloud version supports configuring IP whitelist and user whitelist on the external connection tool PieProxy to limit the access scope of external access functions. The IP whitelist and user whitelist will intersect to form the effective range.
After configuring the whitelist, IPs or users outside the whitelist range cannot have external access . The IP whitelist uses CIDR notation (such as 192.168.1.0/24) to represent an IP address range and supports a mix of IPv4 and IPv6.
- Charge center upgrade
PieCloudDB cloud version fee center upgrade. Organizational accounts distinguish between gift amounts and recharge amounts, and support the invoice function.
The current invoice function supports the issuance of electronic general VAT invoices and electronic special electronic VAT invoices. To issue a special invoice, you need to complete the organization name first, fill in the taxpayer identification number, opening bank, account number and other information. - Permission management optimization
In order to effectively and securely manage database permissions and ensure the consistency of permission operations, PieCloudDB cloud version has added the following functions:
- Transfer database object permissions with one click before removing the user
- Clear database object permissions with one click before deleting a role
When the user is the owner of the database object, the administrator must first transfer the ownership of the database object to the specified user before removing the user from the data warehouse; or when the role is granted (not inherited) to the database When deleting object permissions, the administrator must clear all the granted permissions before deleting the role.
- Added audit log function
PieCloudDB cloud version has a new audit log function. Viewing the audit log requires the administrator to first turn on the "audit switch" in the virtual data warehouse list. At the same time, the audit log and error log integrate the "Log" function. The administrator can click "Log" on the left menu or click "View Log" in the virtual data warehouse to jump.
