Ethereum Foundation engineer Barnabas Busa tweeted that the Holesky public testnet genesis file has been generated and merged into the main branch of the GitHub Ethereum client Holesky library. The launch date of the Holesky public test network is 22:00 on September 15, 2023, Beijing time. The genesis block will have 1,460,000 verification nodes, making it the largest public network to date.

The team said it is preparing for airdrops to reward and motivate advanced users. According to the airdrop rules, users holding less than 10 tBNB will receive the same amount of airdrops.
