[Linux] Ubuntu Beautification Theme [Tutorial]

1. Install the optimization tool Tweak

First install the optimization tool Tweak

sudo apt-get install gnome-tweak-tool

After installation, open Tweak in the menu

Then extensionopen it in User Themesas shown below

If an exclamation mark appears apperenancein the middle part, use the following statement to install the dependenciesShell

sudo apt-get install gnome-shell-extensions

2. Download your favorite theme

Enter Gnome-look.org , enter in order GTK3/4 Themes, and download the theme you like.

The theme used by the author here is WhiteSur Gtk Theme

Find the download address and open the terminal to decompress it.

tar -xvf WhiteSur-Light.tar.xz

Then copy the decompressed file to /usr/share/themesthe path

sudo cp -ar WhiteSur-Light /usr/share/themes/

Then we can see this theme in Tweak and modify it apperanceinapplications

3. Download your favorite icon

Enter Gnome-look.org , enter in order Full icon Themes, and download the icon you like.

The icon used by the author here is Mkos-Big-Sur

Find the download address and open the terminal to decompress it.

tar -xvf Mkos-Big-Sur.tar.xz

Then copy the decompressed file to /usr/share/iconsthe path

sudo cp -ar Mkos-Big-Sur /usr/share/icons/

iconThen select an item in Tweak .
